AIM Foundations, Inc. is a nonprofit in formation, started by Josh Lawson and run by family volunteers.
A note from Josh
I'm Josh Lawson. I started AIM Foundations because somewhere close by, there is a family dealing with an illness or a hard stretch who can't cover the rent or the power bill this month. I want to find those families and pay those bills directly, to the landlord, the utility or the store.
I want all of it out in the open. Every gift and every payment will go on a public ledger with a running total. Nobody here takes a profit, and I don't charge anything for my work. The only things that come out of donations are card fees, government filing fees, and attorney or accountant fees when we need them.
Right now we're doing the paperwork the right way, which means we can't take a dollar yet. When we're approved, I'll open the Giving Tree with the first $100 myself. If you want to be there when it opens, sign up below.

Who runs it
Josh Lawson, Founder and Chair. The rest of the board is family. Everyone is a volunteer, and nobody is paid.
- Our draft rules say no board member, and no relative of one, can ever receive help from the Foundation.
- Any dealing with the company behind AIM needs a yes from board members who have no stake in it, and Josh does not vote on it.
- The Foundation will have its own bank account, never mixed with anyone's personal or business money.
Our connection to AIM
AIM stands for Attitude, Integrity, Mindset. It is Josh's motivational brand, run by his company, Kinno Ventures LLC. AIM Foundations will be its own separate nonprofit corporation, with its own board and its own books.
